"Man Thing" is both a murder mystery, hits of blood and crazy deaths, and comic book story all in one. Throughout the movie, the gore and special-effects are astonishing and amazing. The acting is typical horror flick acting, yet the story is original which makes it different from most. I recommend this movie. "Shallow Ground" from the start to finish is gore. The special effects are scarce, yet when used they are done very well. This movie is purely for gore fans, because the premise and story of the movie are missing.
